Alteryx Designer
Alteryx’s core product is Designer. It allows users to rapidly prepare, blend, conform and analyse data from any source, including flat files, databases, APIs and more, in a single instance.
All of this is accomplished using a visual workflow designer that is remarkably intuitive and easy to use, requiring no code (but is also code-friendly if you prefer).
These workflows are built using a combination of pre-built or custom tools which represent units of functionality such as data input/output, aggregation, filtering, sampling and reporting.
Alteryx also offers any user-built workflow to be saved as its own tool and then used again inside other workflows, referred to as macros. This allows for a tremendous amount of customisation and re-usability of a user's work, and also perform otherwise implausible tasks.
Alteryx Auto Insights
Auto Insights is designed to allow for you to connect your data and, in minutes, get critical insights so you're informed and ready to share with anyone you need. No need to build a new workflow, just add a new tool on the end of your current Alteryx workflows!
Once you have found the insights you are interested in, these can be scheduled to be emailed to everyone that needs to see them. Such that at 9am every morning, the whole team has the critical business insights on their desks at the start of the day, ready to go.
We see Auto Insights as being aa supplement to your current dashboarding efforts. It will allow for your initial data visualisations and insights to be compiled in seconds, rather than days of development.

Alteryx Server
Alteryx Server provides a gallery for users to share their work from Designer, a scheduling engine to automate workflows, version control, and master data management features.
One of the biggest allures is it also allows non-Alteryx users to sign in and execute workflows and applications directly from their web browser, spreading the benefits across a business.
